Tam Lin (Child 39) first collected in 1729. Legendary ballad originating from the Scottish Borders. A tale of love, magic and betrayal. A classic version of this song was recorded by Fairport Convention during the Sandy Denny era and released on their 1969 album Liege and Lief. Performed and arranged by Isobel and Jim Kimberley, available on their eponymous debut album "The Kimberleys".
