SWEET THAMES FLOW SOFTLY

SONGS FROM THE BALCONY

Written by Ewan MacColl in 1966 Sweet Thames Flow Softly formed part of an experimental production based on Romeo and Juliette. Ewan along with his wife Peggy Seeger were founding members of the renown Critics Group who presented the song on BBC radio programming for schools in 1966. There are many beautiful versions of this song, this is our arrangement for ukulele and bodhran. Recorded 30.03.2020
