SONGS FROM THE BALCONY
"Kiss Me Mother" or "I Am Weary" was written by Peter "Pete" Van Kuykendall (1938 – 2017), also known as Pete Roberts. An American country/bluegrass singer songwriter Pete had a long and fruitful career and can lay claim to many gorgeous old timey songs. This one was featured in "O Brother Where Art Thou" and a beautiful version was sung by The Cox Family.
