A ROSEBUD IN JUNE

SONGS FROM THE BALCONY

"Rosebud in June" was first recorded as part of a musical called The Custom of the Manor in 1715 and collected by Cecil Sharp in 1904. This bucolic lyric speaks of the simple pleasures of a shepherd's life. I love singing this harmony with Jim and it has been requested by our friend Ray. Having blown all the budget on a helicopter to shoot this one we could not afford our usual high tech title sequence.
